Yes I said it! Bite me.
Honestly after finally having a title for this post, I don't feel like writing again. But I must satisfy my 19 subscribers from my last post. 19 whole subscribers * and counting *. Thank you for reading through my gibberish. It means the world to me.
If you meet someone for the first time, what do you first see? I see nose *very important * , I see lips then your type of phone, your hands then your feet. People always have their phone in their hands for some reason. I'm a clumsy fella that has fixed this particular phone's screen I'm using now at least 3 times since December. The SLOT guy is always very happy to see me. If you know the cost of an iPhone 11 screen, you'll know why he's always happy
Eque accepts phone and laptop donations. Do with that what you will.
Having soft hands is the easiest way to get me, and my grandma calls me Sweetie or Heaven. So you can go back and read the title again. It should make more sense to you now.
My names are Jacintha Peter-Akabunwa Chinoyelum Awele Sweetie Sapphire Heaven. My friends call me J.
The easiest way to keep your hands smooth is to keep them moisturized. There's no reason why you shouldn't moisturize your hands. The same way you moisturize your body after a shower is the same way you moisturize your hands and re-moisturize as your day goes.
Btw, as a guy whose organ of procreation has not been reconstructed, why do you have nails? Why? I genuinely want to know.
I can give you 50 reasons why men should not and must not keep their nails long and half of them involve getting into Heaven. It's disgusting please cut them off. All of it. And any lady that sees your Vampire Diaries nails and tells you "oh wow their so cute" doesn't want you to enter their Heaven also * full stop *
Wear Sunscreen! It's 2023. If you don't use sunscreen I don't know if I want you reading my blog tbh.
I think we all know what sunscreen does. But this particular reminder is for my babes that get their nails done every 2 weeks . Carry your sunscreen in your bag and apply generously before your hands (and feet) are placed under the UV lamp. Don't say I never did anything for you. The same way I'm sure you apply sunscreen before leaving the house is the same way you should apply your sunscreen to your hands.
Scrub diligently. I have a reminder on my Reminders app to scrub my feet today

Don't get any ideas, the shaving is for my facial hair. I still have two more weeks to go before my leg goes up on my sink again.
Exfoliating is the best way to get rid of dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, and just give you this soft fresh eager and silky skin to work with. Gosh I love a good scrub day. Always moisturize afterwards.
Apply Almond Oil/Coconut Oil. Your palms will thank you. Truly. Just try it out. Dry, rough hands need to be hydrated. Apply any of these oils everyday for the remainder of the year. The chicken you'll want to kill in December won't even know it's in danger because of how smooth and soft your palms would be.
Sleep with a moisturizer or a serum. But if you have a man that's a good choice too.
Your ceremonial nighttime skincare routine should involve applying moisturizer to your hands and a lightening serum to your dark knuckles. Serum comes before moisturizer, if you don't already know that.
Indulge in a manicure at least once a month.
I met a man once that would always get a manicure done everytime he went to the salon to get his haircut. My gosh! Heaven is dancing just thinking about how perfectly perfect his hands looked everytime. I could have asked him to marry me but he asked me first and I realized he had bad character very quickly.
However I did pick up few tips from him. There's a beauty parlor in Port-Harcourt that would literally clean your hands and fingers. It is the calmest, smoothest procedure and I must do it everytime I'm in Ph.
Anytime I go to clean my nails here in Lagos, they always want to use cuticle remover to remove my finger out of the finger bed. So annoying.
So to round up;
Exfoliating
Proper washing (I don't think I need to tell you to wash your hands right?)
Sunscreen
Moisturizing
Hydrating ( hand masks and hand creams do the trick)
Here are some of my favorite things I use to maintain these bad boys⤵️

This is Maggie's hand actually(my good friend). If your phone falls as much as mine does, the camera starts to act a little wonky but she gets her tips from me so we're all good 👍🏽
